About

Fifty years on the same block of 47th Street.

Roizin Refinery has bought scrap gold, silver and platinum from the trade since 1976, from a booth in the Diamond District. The mail-in program is that same counter, opened to dealers who are never going to walk through the door.

Who we buy from.

Jewellers, pawnbrokers, estate buyers and dental labs. Trade only. That is why nothing here explains what melt is, and why the quote form asks for a grade and a weight rather than a photograph.

Why the mail-in program exists.

A counter reaches the dealers who can get to it. Everyone else has had to send a lot out and find out afterwards what it was worth, which is a bad trade dressed up as a convenience.

The usual order is to send a lot and be told the number afterwards. Here the order is reversed: the number is agreed first, then the lot travels. Send, then find out A number you were told afterwards Close, then send The number you agreed first Each unit stays in its own lane, start to finish.
The order is reversed

So the order is reversed. You close the price first, the carriage is insured both ways at our cost, and the lot is weighed and tested on a live video call before anything is agreed. The price you locked is the price you are paid, and from the moment the carrier scans the package the risk is ours.
